Surfing in Weligama

Weligama was the last stop in Sri Lanka before going home so we wanted it to be a relaxing one. We chose to fill our days with surfing, naps and food. An excellent combination.

Weligama travel information

• Transport: We came by train + bus from Tissamaharama.
• Stay: We stayed at Hotel The View (with ocean view ;)) and took surf lessons with Surf”n Lanka.
• Things to do: Relax and surf.
• Food: Cheny Rotty Shop has delicious food! The chicken kottu is great and they have fresh juices as well.
